Irma Hidayana

A Luce-asianetwork Postdoc Teaching Fellow at St Lawrence University

Irma Hidayana is an accomplished public health professional and social advocate with extensive experience in maternal and child health, nutrition, and data transparency. As the Founder of Pelanggarankode.org since April 2020 and Co-Founder of LaporCovid19, Irma has been instrumental in promoting COVID-19 data transparency in Indonesia. Currently serving as a Luce-ASIAnetwork Postdoc Teaching Fellow at St. Lawrence University, Irma focuses on the impact of the baby food industry on health and equity in the region. Previous roles include consultancy with UNICEF Indonesia on conflicts of interest in the baby food industry, co-founding initiatives such as inibudi, a free educational resource for students, and significant contributions to the Indonesian Breastfeeding Counsellor Association. Irma has a Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Master of Public Health from Montclair State University.
