Marsha Sawyer has served as the Director of the McNair Scholars Program and CSTEP at St. Lawrence University since 2011, contributing to university governance through participation in the Human Participants Institutional Review Board and the Campus Safety Committee. Additionally, since 1999, Marsha has been involved in community coalition and prevention initiatives across Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties, NY, focusing on program evaluation for various drug prevention programs. Marsha also directed the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative from 2006 to 2010, serving as a member of the SS/HS Project Director Alumni Group and the Grantee Council for the National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention.
