Kathleen Gase has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on patient safety, quality, and infection prevention. Kathleen began their career as an Infection Control Practitioner at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2003. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a Regional Representative for the Hospital Acquired Infection Reporting Program at the New York State Department of Health. Kathleen then joined BJC HealthCare as a Group Manager of Clinical Epidemiology from 2012 to 2018. At Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, they held the role of Director of Clinical Excellence from 2018 to 2023. Currently, they serve as the Director of Ambulatory Operations at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Kathleen Gase earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis in 1999-2003. Kathleen then pursued a Master's Degree in Public Health Education and Promotion at Hunter College from 2005-2007. Finally, in 2016-2017, Kathleen completed their Executive MBA at Washington University in St. Louis.
