Melissa Albers

Melissa Albers is an experienced library professional currently serving as Assistant Branch Manager and Library Associate at St. Louis County Library since July 2021. Previously, Melissa held the position of Library Paraprofessional at Francis Howell School District from September 2018 to June 2021 and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Truman State University, where responsibilities included efficient grading and program development analysis. Additional experience includes roles such as Dramaturg for Truman Theatre, Intern at Unlimited Potential Counseling and Education Center, Resident Assistant at Missouri Scholars Academy, and Tutor at the Center for Academic Excellence. Melissa holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and dual Bachelor's degrees in Creative Writing and Psychology from Truman State University.
