St Louis County Police
Brian Shanika has an extensive law enforcement career that began in May 1995 with the City of Normandy Police Department as a Police Officer. In October 1997, Brian joined the St Louis County Police, where Brian has held various roles, including Patrol Officer and School Resource Officer at LaSalle Springs Middle School. Brian progressed to positions such as Sergeant in the Division of Patrol, Detective in Computer & Financial Fraud, and ultimately Detective Sergeant within the Division of Criminal Investigation, where Brian supervises Special Investigations and serves as the Commander of the Eastern District of Missouri Human Trafficking Task Force. Additionally, Brian has held a Detective Sergeant role in the Bureau of Professional Standards.
