Derek Palmer

Derek Palmer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and product specialization. Currently serving as a Product Specialist and Product Manager at St. Louis Group since September 2022, Derek analyzes market data to inform inventory and purchasing strategies. Previously, as Director of Operations at Quest Food Management Services, Derek managed a $10M account and oversaw a team of over 110 employees. Derek also held various roles at Aramark, including Food Service Director, where responsibilities included managing significant annual sales and supervising large teams. Prior experiences include food operations supervision at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel, shift supervision at Starbucks Coffee Company, and store management at Game Crazy. Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Illinois University, graduating between 2006 and 2008.
