Benjamin Kent

Girls Soccer Head Coach at St. Louis Park Public Schools

Benjamin Kent has a diverse work experience in various roles. Benjamin worked at Spheres as a Parent and Family Coach, specializing in resolving issues arising from parental separation, educational decisions, and athletic decisions. Benjamin also served as the Girls Soccer Head Coach at St. Louis Park Public Schools for 15 seasons, where they focused on providing student-athletes with options and opportunities to pursue competitive and recreational activities. At Augsburg College, they held multiple roles including Director of Academic Achievement, where they developed programs to support students in achieving their academic and personal goals. Additionally, Benjamin worked as an Adjunct Instructor at St. Catherine University, teaching a course called "The Reflective Life" to help students transition to college by developing academic success and writing skills.

Benjamin Kent completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology/History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. Benjamin further pursued their educational endeavors at the University of Oregon, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Counseling Psychology from 1989 to 1991.
