Racheal served as the Assistant Vice President for Development from 2018 to 2020, followed by assuming the role of Acting Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations from 2020 to 2021. Their final position at the college was as the Vice President for Advancement from 2021 to 2023.
In 2023, Racheal joined McAllister & Quinn as a Grants Consultant and also started working as the Director of Advancement and Community Engagement at St. Luke's Episcopal School. These roles showcase their ability to contribute to both consulting firms and educational institutions.

Racheal Banks earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo in 1999. Racheal later received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, completing their studies from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, in 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Nonprofit Management at Virginia Commonwealth University. It is also noted that they completed a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo at an unspecified time.
