Racheal Banks

Racheal Banks has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of advancement, development, and alumni relations. Racheal has held various roles and positions at different organizations, showcasing their expertise and leadership skills.

Starting in 2000, Racheal worked as a National Consultant for the Chi Omega Fraternity. Racheal then transitioned to Virginia Commonwealth University, where they served as an Assistant to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations in 2003. Following this, they joined the University of Montevallo in 2004, initially as an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and later as the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs.

In 2012, Racheal moved to the University of South Alabama and became the Director of Health Sciences Development and Alumni Relations. Racheal continued to excel at the university and was later promoted to the role of Director of Development, Medical Affairs & Alumni Relations in 2018.

During their time at the University of South Alabama, they also concurrently worked at Spring Hill College, where they held multiple positions. Racheal served as the Assistant Vice President for Development from 2018 to 2020, followed by assuming the role of Acting Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations from 2020 to 2021. Their final position at the college was as the Vice President for Advancement from 2021 to 2023.

In 2023, Racheal joined McAllister & Quinn as a Grants Consultant and also started working as the Director of Advancement and Community Engagement at St. Luke's Episcopal School. These roles showcase their ability to contribute to both consulting firms and educational institutions.

Racheal Banks earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo in 1999. Racheal later received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, completing their studies from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, in 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Nonprofit Management at Virginia Commonwealth University. It is also noted that they completed a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo at an unspecified time.
