Amber Vega has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Amber started their career as a Registered Nurse at Swedish Medical Center in 2019, where they worked as an Emergency Room Nurse until 2020. In 2020, Amber joined St. Mark's Hospital, where they held multiple roles including Critical Care Float Nurse, Hospital Supervisor, and Nursing Manager. Currently, they serve as the Director of Critical Care Services at St. Mark's Hospital. Prior to that, they worked as a Registered Nurse at Centura Health-Porter Adventist Hospital from 2017 to 2020.

Amber Vega MSN, RN, SCRN has a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from Grand Canyon University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Platt College-Aurora between 2014 and 2017.

In addition to their academic achievements, Amber also holds various certifications. Amber is a Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) by the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, obtained in November 2021. Lastly, they have obtained the Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification from the American Heart Association in January 2020.
