April Sanchez-Williamson

April Sanchez-Williamson is a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience in various roles within the Rowan-Salisbury Schools system, including School Principal, Literacy Design Coach, and Assistant Principal. April has a strong focus on teaching literacy across subjects and has utilized differentiated professional development to support teachers. As an educator, April specialized in teaching third-grade students and academically gifted sixth graders, particularly those in ESOL and Title I programs. In addition to academic roles, April has served as a Reading Tutor at St. Mark's Lutheran Church and holds multiple degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, including a Doctor of Education with a concentration in Superintendency and Educational System Administration.
