Rachel Chen

Rachel Chen is an accomplished executive in the field of software engineering and data management, currently serving as Executive Director of Software Engineering and previously as Director of Data Engineering & Application Development at Providence since May 2018. With a strong background in data architecture and engineering, Rachel has held significant roles at Providence Health & Services as a Senior Information Management Architect, and earlier at companies such as Healthentic and WDS. Rachel's expertise includes developing data ingestion processes, designing data management solutions, and leading technical teams in healthcare analytics and system integration projects. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Washington.
