Colleen Thompson

Colleen Thompson has extensive experience in education, primarily as a teacher of Spanish and early childhood education. Since January 2007, Colleen has served as a Jr. Kindergarten Teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School, initially starting as a substitute teacher for 5th grade. Prior to this role, Colleen taught Spanish and assisted in Kindergarten to 2nd grade at FAITH Homeschool Tutorial, contributing to the development of community among Christian homeschool families. Colleen's teaching background also includes positions at University School of Jackson, Haywood Jr. High School, and Jackson State Community College, where Spanish language instruction was provided to various age groups. Colleen holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Administration from Union University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from the same institution.
