Ibrahim Ahmed

Ibrahim Ahmed, CPA CMA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ibrahim currently holds the position of Director of Finance at St. Mary's General Hospital, where they have been working since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at the same organization from January 2017 to June 2022. Ibrahim also worked as a Professor at Conestoga College starting from January 2023.

Before joining St. Mary's General Hospital and Conestoga College, Ibrahim held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at Cambridge Memorial Hospital from November 2011 to January 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Research In Motion (now BlackBerry) from November 2008 to November 2011 in various roles including Financial Analyst and Cognos Controller Administrator. Ibrahim also gained experience as a Financial Accountant at Open Text from September 2007 to November 2008.

Ibrahim Ahmed, CPA CMA, completed courses in Management Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University from 1995 to 1999. Ibrahim also completed the CMA program in 2008 and received CMA preparation in the same year. In terms of additional certifications, Ibrahim obtained "Data and Disruption: Mastering AI and Machine Learning for Finance" from MIT Sloan Management Review in 2024, "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" from LinkedIn in 2023, and "What Is Generative AI?" from LinkedIn in 2023.
