Monsa Scott has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Monsa began their career in 2013 as the Founder of Viking Work, a company they led until 2015. Monsa then worked as a Smoothie Trainer at Via Via Pizzeria in 2014 and as a Host at Barking Crab in 2015. In 2016, they completed a Marketing Internship at Major Cutz.
Starting in 2017, Monsa held the position of Executive Officer at Rosters Enterprise LLC, a parent company to several subsidiary companies, including Rosters Academics and Rosters Real Estate. Monsa also worked as a Ticket Salesman and Club Promoter at Sapphire Club & Event Center during this time.
In 2018, Monsa joined Naval Station Newport as a Recreational Assistant, and in 2019, they completed a Fitness Specialist Internship there. Monsa then worked as the Head Basketball Coach at St. Michael's Country Day School in 2021 and as the Defensive Coordinator at Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc in 2022. Monsa currently serves as a Substitute Teacher at Newport Public Schools starting in 2023.
Monsa Scott's education history begins in 2015 when they obtained a Diploma in Business/Commerce, General from Hebron Academy. They then went on to attend Bates College from 2016 to 2018, where they studied Economics. In 2018, Monsa transferred to Salve Regina University and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.
In terms of additional certifications, Monsa completed a COVID-19 contact tracing training program at The Johns Hopkins University in October 2021. They also have certifications as an Athletic Coach from Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc and in CPR/AED/First Aid from Naval Station Newport.
