Kerry O’reilly Wilks

Kerry O'Reilly Wilks has a robust background in legal, regulatory, and commercial affairs, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Growth & Energy Marketing at TransAlta since November 2018, where previous roles included Executive Vice-President of Legal, Commercial & External Affairs and Chief Officer of Legal, Regulatory & External Affairs. In addition to this leadership position, Kerry holds roles as a member of the Women's Economic Council of Alberta and a Director at St. Michael's Foundation. Kerry has a notable editorial role on the Canadian Lawyer Magazine's Editorial Board and has served as a Board Director for TransAlta Renewables Inc. and St. Michael's Hospital. Prior experience includes significant legal leadership positions at Vale and a foundational education with an LLB from the University of New Brunswick and a BSc in Neuropsychology from Dalhousie University.
