Amanda Fisher

Amanda Fisher is an experienced fundraising and communications professional with a strong background in legacy and in-memory giving, currently serving as the Legacy Fundraising Manager at St Mungo's since August 2019. Prior roles at St Mungo's include Senior Fundraising Officer, Fundraising Officer, and Fundraising Administrator, where significant contributions were made in managing marketing programs, donor stewardship, and gifts administration. In addition to work at St Mungo's, Amanda has been self-employed as a Writer/Editor since 2006, creating and editing various digital and print content. Previous positions include Donor Relations Associate at American Farmland Trust, Copywriter at Words@Work, Inc., Assistant Director at Dorchester County Tourism, Communications Manager at Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, and News and Feature Reporter at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Journalism from Goucher College and completed a year abroad in American Literature and Film at the University of Exeter.
