Kari Vanderveen

Kari VanDerVeen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications for Media Relations at St. Olaf College since November 2007, where responsibilities include identifying and pitching news items to various media outlets. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Specialist and Reporter at Minnesota Premier Publications from December 2005 to November 2007, covering local government and politics. Kari also reported for the Stillwater Gazette and gained early experience as an intern at the Wisconsin State Journal. Kari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where education was completed in 2005.
