Jasmine Porter has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a Deli team member at Woolworths Supermarkets. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Teacher of Modern History, EAL/D, History, and French at NSW Department of Education. Jasmine then moved to Sydney Catholic Schools, where they served as a Teacher of HSIE and Religious Education from 2013 to 2019, and later became the Acting HSIE Coordinator/Assistant HSIE Coordinator from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Religious Education at St Patrick's College, Strathfield, starting from 2023.
Jasmine Porter completed a Graduate Certificate in Religious Education from The University of Notre Dame Australia in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Teaching degree from the University of Sydney between 2009 and 2010. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Sydney University, which they earned between 2006 and 2008, where their studies focused on History, Politics, Philosophy, and Social and Cultural Analysis.
