Sherryln Thompson is an experienced professional serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the St. Paul Area Chamber since April 2021, where responsibilities include acting as a liaison and ensuring contract compliance. Additionally, Sherryln manages communications between the St. Paul Area Chamber and Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce, where involvement includes overseeing events and the 10,000 Black Business Program. Sherryln is the Owner and Chief Events Officer of Highly Favored Events, LLC, responsible for planning and executing a variety of events. Previous experience includes leadership in procurement at General Mills, where initiatives led to substantial improvements in operational efficiency. Sherryln holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma, along with certificates in Meeting and Event Management and Home Based Travel Agent.
