Dodie Singer has a work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Dodie started their career in 1984 as the Pre-school Director at East Anaheim Christian, where they were responsible for scheduling teachers and aids, ordering supplies, and creating Puppet Centers. In 1989, they moved on to Curtin Matherson Scientific, where they worked as a CRT Operator until 1997. Finally, since 2000, they have been the Head Librarian at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School, overseeing the scheduling of volunteers and the library committee, as well as coordinating library times for various classes and organizing Readers Theater/Puppet times.
Dodie Singer attended Santa Ana College from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Library and Information Science. In 1989, they briefly studied shorthand at Orange Coast College.

St. Paul's Lutheran School has been serving the Orange County community in school ministry for over 100 years. It is affiliaed with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).
