Ernie Hand has extensive experience in fire safety and emergency management, having served as Fire Marshal for the City of St. Pete Beach since January 2000, and in various roles such as Assistant Chief and Battalion Chief within the St. Pete Beach Fire Department and St Pete Beach Fire Rescue during the same period. Additionally, Ernie Hand held the position of ES&H Manager of Fire Protection at Lockheed Martin Specialty Components from April 1992 to June 1996. Educational qualifications include studies in Fire Science.
