Shane Tooley is an accomplished educator and leader in the field of music and curriculum development, currently serving as Chief Marker, Lead Confirmer, Lead Marker, and External Assessment Marker for Music at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) since March 2020. In addition to this role, Shane conducts the TCS Choir at the Toowoomba Choral Society and serves as Assistant Principal Curriculum at St Peter Claver College. With extensive experience at Downlands College as Curriculum Leader for The Arts and various leadership roles in music and performing arts, including Producer and Musical Director at Smash Theatrical, Shane has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational leadership and innovation. Academic qualifications include a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education, alongside multiple degrees from Queensland University of Technology, emphasizing music education, educational leadership, and ICT integration.
