Jun Young Choi, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Head of Research and Development and Head of Chemical Synthesis R&D at ST Pharm Co., Ltd. since 2021, focusing on process development and cGMP manufacturing for small molecules. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Raw Material Development Manager at Nitto Avecia, where support for cGMP manufacturing of oligonucleotides was provided, and Sr Scientist positions at Idenix Pharmaceuticals and Synta Pharmaceuticals, where significant contributions were made in nucleoside development and oncology programs. Jun Young Choi holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, alongside a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, with additional postdoctoral work at Purdue University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
