Kirsten Adams

Head of School at St Stephen’s & St. Agnes School

Kirsten Adams is currently the Head of School at St Stephen’s & St. Agnes School. Prior to their current position, Kirsten was the Associate Head of School and Upper School Head at McDonogh School from September 2008 to June 2014. Before that, Kirsten was the Upper School Head at The Hockaday School from January 2004 to December 2008. Kirsten started their educational career as the Science Department Chair at National Cathedral School from January 1995 to December 2004. Kirsten’s experience and successes in each of these positions have led their to their current role as Head of School.

Kirsten Adams has a MES from Yale University in Environmental Studies, an A.B. from Dartmouth College in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology, and a Diploma from Bryn Mawr School.

Quincey Grieve - Middle School Director, Mike Mallett - Upper School Director, and Nicole Harding - Administrative Assistant to the Head of School report to Kirsten Adams.
