Carlo Malana

Carlo Malana is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Philippines), a global IT infrastructure company. Carlo has held this position since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Globe Telecom as the SVP and Chief Information Officer from November 2019 to April 2022.

Before their role at Globe Telecom, Carlo Malana had multiple positions at AT&T. Carlo was the AVP - Strategy Execution, AVP - Telesales and Outsourced Contact Centers, AVP - Strategy Execution & Transformation in AT&T Mexico, Executive Director - Big Data, Director - IT Sales Strategy and Business Integration, and Senior Director - Integrated Release Mgmt and IT Systems Training. Carlo worked at AT&T from August 2001 to December 2018.

Carlo Malana also worked at Frontier Communications (formerly Citizens Communications) as the Director - Support Services, Strategy & Acquisitions from September 1998 to May 2001.

Carlo Malana pursued their education at various institutions. Carlo attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) and Material Science Engineering (Fiber Optic Design) to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Later, they enrolled at Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, where they focused on Marketing and Strategy and completed their MBA degree. Additionally, Carlo obtained a Filipino Scholar 7-year full scholarship at the International School Manila.
