Bianca Wentzell

Bianca Wentzell is a seasoned academic leader currently serving as the Dean of the School of STEM at St. Thomas Aquinas College since May 2023, following a successful interim period. Wentzell oversees 10 undergraduate programs and a diverse faculty team, driving initiatives for academic excellence and student success. Previous academic roles include Associate Professor of Biology at Kean University, Research Scientist at Montclair State University, and Visiting Assistant Professor at Siena College. Wentzell completed a PhD in Biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and has participated in various research projects across notable institutions, demonstrating a commitment to advancing biological sciences education and research.
