Mary Vota

Mary Vota serves as the Director of Student Success/Academic Support/Leadership Team for the Higher Education Opportunity Program at St. Thomas Aquinas College since November 2013, leading initiatives to enhance student retention and graduation rates through academic support services and advising. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Academic Support Services, where responsible for improving students' academic performance and collaborating with Academic Support Services for advising. Additionally, Mary Vota was the Director of Experiential Learning, guiding students in securing internship opportunities. Their earlier experience includes positions as Administrative Assistant at Pan Associates, Certified Personal Trainer/Bootcamp Instructor at Rockland County Adventure Bootcamp, and Director of Guidance at Paramus, NJ, focusing on college counseling and various student support activities. Mary Vota holds a Master's degree in School Counseling from The College of New Rochelle and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
