Alexandra Hertz, BSN, RN, CWOCN, is a Clinical Wound Care Nurse Educator at St. Vincent Medical Center since May 2017, responsible for daily patient rounds and leading a team to implement evidence-based practices for wound care. Previously, Alexandra managed cardiac patient care as a Telemetry/DOU Registered Nurse, and also gained experience as a Medical Scribe/Assistant Research Coordinator at Cabrillo Cardiology Medical Group. Early career roles included oncology research internship at Amgen and medical assistant internship at WellnessMart. Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Miami and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
