David Cavanaugh-Keyek

David Cavanaugh-Keyek has served as a School Counselor at St. Vrain Valley Schools since August 2010, following a role at Adams 12 Five Star Schools from August 2009 to August 2010. Prior experience includes a decade as a Special Education Resource Teacher at Centennial Middle School, Boulder Valley School District, from August 1998 to August 2009, and a position as a College Admissions Consultant at The Best U from September 2018 to January 2022. David holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology with a focus on School Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver, along with several credentials in special education and urban elementary education. Educational qualifications also include a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Syracuse University, showcasing a diverse academic background.
