Diane Lauer

Diane Lauer is the current Assistant Superintendent of Priority Programs & Academic Support at St. Vrain Valley Schools. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Northern Colorado from July 2014 to December 2018. There, they facilitated graduate level coursework for principal preparation in the Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Program. Diane has also served as the Executive Director of Instruction for Thompson School District, where they were responsible for designing systems for the Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, Media Services, Student Information System Services, Instructional Technology, Professional Development, Gifted & Talented, and English Language Acquisition departments.

Diane Lauer has a Doctor of Education (EdD) from the University of Northern Colorado in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Diane also has a Masters from the University of Northern Colorado in Educational Leadership. Her undergraduate degrees are in Secondary Education from Santa Fe University of Art and Design and Political Science & Speech Comm from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Their manager is Jackie Kapushion, Deputy Superintendent. Diane Lauer works with Patty Quinones - Assistant Superintendent of Innovation, Johnny Terrell - Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, and Todd Fukai - Assistant Superintendent of HR.
