Sarah Wegert

Sarah Wegert serves as the STEM Coordinator at St. Vrain Valley School District since May 2013, where responsibilities include leading the understanding and integration of the design thinking process, enhancing teacher knowledge of STEM integration, and fostering capacity for STEM leadership at both building and district levels. Wegert plays a crucial role in establishing connections and alignment across grades and buildings to promote a unified approach to project-based learning while ensuring compliance with required RTTT grant expectations. Prior to this role, Wegert worked as an Elementary Technology Coach and a MESA Educator within the same district. Sarah Wegert earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biological Sciences and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Colorado Boulder.
