David Baer has over 20 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry, with a strong background in roles such as Project Manager, Manager of Ophthalmic Application, Clinical Support Trainer, and Global Product Director. David has worked for companies like STAAR Surgical, Alcon, Abbott Medical Optics, and WaveFront Sciences, showcasing their expertise in product development, clinical application training, and customer support within the field of ophthalmology.

David Baer completed their Dipl. Ing. (FH) in Electrical Engineering from TH Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences in 2004. David later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at UNM Anderson School of Management from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2007.
