Eric Wood

Eric Wood is an experienced audio engineer and tonmeister currently working at Staatstheater Braunschweig since August 2019. Previously, Eric held the position of audio engineer at Theater für Niedersachsen from November 2021 to July 2022 and worked as an audio engineer and veranstaltungstechniker at SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa from January 2016 to August 2019. Additional experience includes managing operations at Caltech's Beckman and Ramo Auditoriums from April 2008 to April 2015 and serving as production manager and audio engineer at the Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center between July 2003 and April 2008. Eric's freelance audio engineering work spanned from November 1994 to July 2003, which included a stint at Universal Studios Hollywood from May 1995 to June 1996. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from California State University, Long Beach and an Ausbildung in Tonstudiotechnik and Musik from Fullerton College.
