Peter-Arjen Boers

Peter-Arjen Boers has extensive experience in environmental law and engineering, holding the position of Senior Advisor in Environmental Law at STAB since 2007, where expertise includes providing expert reports to judges on technical aspects of environmental disputes. From 2016 to January 2024, Peter-Arjen served as a lecturer for Berghauser Pont, co-offering courses related to waste law and environmental law education. Additionally, Peter-Arjen was seconded to the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations as an Advisor/Policy Officer for the Environmental Law from May 2016 to June 2017, working on the legal framework of the Environmental Planning Act. Previous roles include Environmental Engineer at Total Exploration and Production Nederland, where responsibilities involved compliance with environmental regulations and project management, and earlier advisory positions at STAB and Royal Haskoning/IWACO, focusing on environmental permits and soil investigations. Peter-Arjen holds a degree in Environmental Science from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and furthered education through various programs including Kader Group and Delft University of Technology.
