Susanne van Hoek-Gerritsen

Susanne van Hoek-Gerritsen PhD is an experienced educator and director with a robust background in academia and training, currently serving as a tutor for the Skills Actuarial Science Bachelor Thesis Seminar at the University of Amsterdam since April 2023. With a diverse range of teaching roles at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since February 2016, including responsibilities as a thesis evaluator and supervisor, Susanne has significantly contributed to the fields of applied mathematics, finance, and business economics. As the General Director of Van Hoek Trainingen since May 2010, Susanne leads training initiatives, while holding various academic positions at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and the University of Amsterdam Business School, including roles as thesis examinator, coordinator, and tutor across multiple programs. Susanne's educational qualifications include a PhD in Argumentation Theory and a Master’s Degree in Dutch Linguistics, both from the University of Amsterdam.
