Celeste Burns

Celeste Burns has worked in the healthcare industry for 17 years. In 2004, they began their career as a Charge at San Dimas Medical Group, Inc., where they were responsible for developing a new employee handbook and EMR template development and implementation. In 2009, they transitioned to San Joaquin Valley College as an Instructor, teaching clinical and non-clinical courses to future clinicians. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Dignity Health/Aramark/Crothall as an Environmental Services Manager, coordinating hospital service operations, driving business development, and managing client relations. In 2018, they joined Xanitos Inc. as an Assistant Director, where they managed a team of 100 staff and 5 managers, and was in charge of project management of a 600 bed facility. From 2020 to 2022, Celeste worked at CompassOne/Vanguard Resources as Director, developing and maintaining courteous and effective working relationships, and managing a team of 72+ staff and a leadership team of 5. Since 2022, they have been employed by Stability Healthcare and Excel Medical Staffing as a Healthcare Recruiter, responsible for recruiting qualified nurses and allied health professionals for job positions at medical establishments. At Goldfish Medical Staffing, they have been a Physician Recruiter since 2022, sourcing, screening and placing physicians throughout the country.

Celeste Burns attended the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration. Celeste then attended California State University, Bakersfield from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Master of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
