Mary Elzey has over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of market research, product strategy, and software development. Mary began their career in 1996 at Sawyer Riley Compton as an Account Supervisor, where they worked on public relations programs for B2B and B2C clients in the home improvement space. In 1999, they joined GCI Group as a Senior Account Supervisor and Account Management Leader, where they managed and was the day-to-day client lead for The Home Depot and InterContinental Hotels. In 2002, they moved to Deep Blue Insight as Vice President, where they led multiple quantitative and qualitative projects on behalf of enterprise-level brand and product development teams. In 2018, they became a Freelance Market Research Consultant, conducting ethnographic work for clients in the CPG industry and strategy work for clients in the building products industry. Later that same year, they joined Stable Kernel as Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Customer Insights and Strategy, leading a talented and diverse group of market research, product strategy, and design professionals.

Mary Elzey has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from The University of Georgia, with a focus in Public Relations and French. Mary also has certifications in Consulting Best Practices from StrategyU - Learn Consulting Secrets, New Product Development Training, Industrial & Product Design from Burke Institute, and PADI Certified from Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
