Jimmy Afshar

Jimmy Afshar is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and strategic management within the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving at Stacc as Stacc Sweden since January 2023, Jimmy previously held various executive roles at Tietoevry, including Head of Business Development & Strategy for Financial Crime Prevention. With a significant tenure at EVRY, Jimmy operated as Vice President for both Strategic Deals and Strategic Sales, and managed large-scale projects within the banking sector. As the cofounder and CEO of Adeptic Technologies AB, Jimmy specialized in advanced search engine and analytics solutions. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Senior Consultant at Accenture, focusing on major projects in insurance and high-tech industries. Jimmy's academic credentials include an MSc in Wireless Communications from the University of Waterloo and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by executive education at Harvard Business School.
