Frank Hidalgo

Frank Hidalgo, PhD, is an AI Engineer at StackAI since August 2025, previously serving as a Senior ML Scientist at Strand Therapeutics from July 2023 to September 2025, contributing to the development of programmable mRNA therapeutics. Prior to that, Frank was a Founding Member of a Stealth Startup, securing admission to the Berkeley SkyDeck Program and establishing milestones for biotech development from September 2022 to July 2023. Frank also held the position of Senior Research Scientist at RecoverX, focusing on AI-driven medical decision-making from March 2021 to September 2022. Earlier experiences include roles as a Data Science Consultant at D-Lab, Team Leader at Beyond Academia, Graduate Student Researcher and Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and positions at the University of California, San Diego, and University of San Diego. Frank earned a PhD in Molecular Biology/Computational Biology and holds Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry from both the University of San Diego and IQS Barcelona.
