Daniel Chen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development, data engineering, and software automation. At StackAdapt, Daniel has excelled in roles from Full Stack Engineer to Staff Software Engineer, focusing on technologies such as Go, Spark, Rails, and AWS, particularly in inventory integration and bidding functionalities. Previous experience includes data engineering at Citi, where real-time stock order execution analysis was conducted using Kafka and Spark, and software engineering at Thomson Reuters, where enhancements were made to a legal matter management tool. Daniel’s early career involved business intelligence consulting at BDO Canada and development roles at Dealer-FX Group, BlackBerry, Paralucent Inc, and ROC Aviation, showcasing a diverse skill set in web development, API creation, and data processing across various industries. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and an initial degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
