Joachim van der Vlis

Joachim van der Vlis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management and consultancy within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Business Manager at Stacker since November 2024, Joachim oversees the placement of software and test engineers in high-tech R&D environments. Prior to this role, Joachim was the Regional Director for South Netherlands at ALTEN Nederland from January 2014 to November 2024, managing over 200 consultants and engineers and holding P&L responsibility for enterprise services. Previous positions at ALTEN included Business Unit Manager, Coaching Business Manager, and Senior Business Manager, all focused on technical software development and testing. Joachim’s background also includes roles at Huisman Equipment B.V., Quasus, and various positions in pharmaceutical and energy sectors, where responsibilities spanned system validation, project management, and communication. Joachim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hogeschool voor Economische Studies Amsterdam and a Master's degree in Philosophy of management and organization from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
