Karina Spehar, MAcc, CPA

Karina Spehar, MAcc, CPA has extensive work experience across multiple industries. In their most recent role as Controller at StackTeck Systems Ltd., they are currently responsible for financial management and overseeing accounting operations. Prior to that, Karina worked at Agricorp as a Team Leader in Risk Management, where they assessed and addressed risks within government programs and services provided to agri-food producers in Ontario.

Karina also has a strong background in auditing, having worked as an Experienced Senior Audit Associate at PwC from 2019 to 2021, and as an Experienced Audit Associate from 2016 to 2018. In these roles, they gained significant experience in conducting financial audits, evaluating internal controls, and providing advisory services to clients.

Additionally, Karina has held positions in finance and administration, including a role as a Finance and Administration Associate at the Ontario Energy Board in 2015. Karina also served as a Bookkeeper for the Brock University Business Students' Association in the same year.

Karina's early work experience includes a role as a Student Page at the Milton Public Library from 2011 to 2014, where they provided excellent organizational skills and maintained a tidy and efficient library environment. Karina also graduated from Craig Kielburger Secondary School in 2014.

Additionally, they have obtained certifications in University of Guelph Foundations in Agricultural Management from the University of Guelph in January 2022, and Beta Gamma Sigma - Lifetime Member of Higher Education from Beta Gamma Sigma in September 2016.
