John Rising

John Rising is a seasoned professional in the aerospace and blockchain industries, currently serving as Co-Founder of Stackup, an open-source blockchain platform for web3 experiences, since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Mission Manager at SpaceX, where management of rideshare missions occurred, as well as holding key engineering roles at Relativity, including Director of Vehicle Engineering and Lead of Vehicle Systems, contributing significantly to the development of the Terran launch vehicle. Prior to Relativity, John was a Spaceship Propulsion Performance Engineer at Virgin Galactic, specializing in the analysis of the SpaceShipTwo propulsion system. John holds a Master of Science in System Design and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
