Dieter van Esch

Dieter Van Esch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and recruitment. Currently serving as Afdelingshoofd MarCom at Stad Genk and Hoofdjager at Hoofdjager since September and August 2025, respectively, Dieter also operates as a VAR Replay Operator for both Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd and the Royal Belgian Football Association. As a co-founder of CaptainWork and Balls and Glory, Dieter has played a pivotal role in reshaping the HR sector and entrepreneurship. Previous positions include PR & social media director and Director of Creative & Client Services at Intracto, as well as co-founding Blue Zoo Social Media. Dieter holds a degree in Public Relations, Communication, and Media Studies from Hogeschool PXL, where a guest lecturing role was also undertaken.
