Doreen Schouterden is the Manager of Entrepreneur Guidance and Innovation at UNIZO Oost-Vlaanderen, where they coordinate a dedicated team to support and empower startups and entrepreneurs. They have served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at HOGENT since 2021 and previously practiced as a lawyer at Advocatenkantoor Mattijs, Voet and co from 2009 to 2013. Doreen has extensive experience in legal and advisory roles, having worked as a Jurist at DAS Rechtsbijstand and as an Advisor for Smart City initiatives at UNIZO Oost-Vlaanderen. Doreen holds a Master in Law from Ghent University, awarded cum laude, and is a proud member of JCI.
