Shamina van der Vurst

Shamina Van der Vurst is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for the Low Emission Zone at Stad Gent since January 2021, Shamina has previously held roles including Communications, Marketing & Sales Manager at BattMobiel, and Communications Coordinator and Teamlead for the Department of Work at Stad Gent. Earlier experiences include project coordination for the merger of North Sea Port, city press officer responsibilities, and internships focused on PR and marketing. Shamina's academic qualifications include a Master's in Communication Sciences from Ghent University and a recent Masterclass in Generative AI in Marketing.
