Thomas Lecompte

Thomas Lecompte is the Director of Communications for the City of Ghent, where they focus on strategic communication, governance, and community engagement. With extensive experience in various roles at Stad Gent, they have led teams in communication strategies and organizational development. Previously, Thomas worked with the Belgian Development Agency, contributing to change management and quality assurance. They studied International Politics at the Universiteit Antwerpen and hold an Advanced Master in Governance and Development from the Institute of Development Policy and Management. Currently, they are pursuing a management program in Brand Management and Communication at Vlerick Business School.
