Vincent Van Quickenborne has extensive experience in Belgian politics, currently serving as Burgemeester of Stad Kortrijk since January 2013 and as a Volksvertegenwoordiger in De Kamer since October 2012. Prior to these roles, Vincent held the position of Vice-eersteminister and Minister of Pensions, as well as Minister for Entrepreneurship and Simplification in the Federal Government from March 2008 to October 2012. Vincent also served as Staatssecretaris of Administrative Simplification from June 2003 to December 2007 and was a Senator in the Belgian Senate from June 1999 to June 2003. Vincent's educational background includes a Licentiaat in Law from KU Leuven and a Kandidaat in Law from KULAK, Kortrijk, along with a secondary education in Latin-Mathematics from Sint-Barbaracollege in Gent.
