Jelle Lisson

Jelle Lisson is a seasoned professional in the field of heritage and urban planning, currently serving as Teamcoördinator Erfgoed and Expert Onroerend Erfgoed at stad Sint-Truiden since September 2022. Previously, Jelle held the position of Adviseur Ruimtelijke Ordening, Wonen en Onroerend Erfgoed at the Vlaams Parlement from November 2021 to September 2022. Jelle's experience includes a role as Onderzoeker at Onroerend Erfgoed (Flanders Heritage Agency) from February 2018 to November 2021, as well as various research positions, including Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven and Research Associate at King's College London. Jelle earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History, a Master of Arts (MA) in Medieval History, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History, all from KU Leuven, highlighting a strong academic background in historical studies.
