Samiran Pillay

Samiran Pillay serves as the Head of Finance at STADIO Higher Education since October 2016, overseeing the complete finance function, including debtors, creditors, treasury, tax compliance, and regulatory compliance, as well as preparing financial statements and managing audits. Prior experience includes serving as Financial Manager at Crookes Brothers Limited, responsible for managing creditors, payments, and tax compliance across multiple countries, and multiple finance management roles at Unilever, where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting, business partnering, risk management, and internal audits across African regions. Samiran began the career at PwC South Africa as an Audit Trainee, focusing on audit strategy and financial statement preparation. Samiran holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
